Rollins College, Softball Fieldhouse

The new state-of-the-art Rollins Softball Fieldhouse will house the team’s locker room, an umpire changing, and a conference/meeting room equipped with a treatment table. Clerestory windows located at the front of the building will wash the interior spaces with ample natural light and the extended roof overhang will block direct sunlight thus making the building more energy efficient. While its architecture is more contemporary than the Rollins campus vernacular, the building comprises elements such as oversized wood roof brackets that will create a connection to the main campus architecture.
