UCF Honors College

project description

The design goals were to provide a unique architectural identity and a comfortable environment, facilitating the interaction between fellow students and faculty, thus stimulating the minds of the most promising students. The relationship of the Honors Reading room and the Dean's offices form a sub axis to each other. The significance of these spaces is emphasized by their round forms which are expressed in the verandas surrounding them. The Student Reception and Lobby are two distinct spaces which are open to each other. They form an ideal location for social gatherings and provide flexibility for various community functions. The entire building is ADA accessible. Project designed under Borrelli & Associates Architects Planners, P.A.
